Default Hatchimals...so many choices. Help, please!

There are so many different types. My kids weren't interested last year, but this Christmas they both want them. I thought there was just one type, and it comes in various styles. But it seems like there are a bunch. What should I buy?

I don't know anything about them… But saw one at Costco.

I think the popular one this year is the one that hatches twins.

    *shudder*

We asked DD which one she wanted and she gave us a color/possible critter combo, so that's what we got.

I understand this is a good price for the twins one.

I saw one at michaels. Not sure if you can use a coupon, but it would be a good deal if you can.

We got DD the twins from Target.

Of course she wanted the GIRAVEN (or, as she said "the giraffe one") type, which was sold out in-store, BUT ... the $10 Gift Card offer on the back of the Wish Book (or whatever the catalog is called) brings the base price down from ~$70 to ~$60 (for us, it was about $64 with tax) AND, because you're spending more than $50, you get free shipping.

Hatchimals are excluded from Michaels coupons; I have a couple and I checked.

    Bummer, really, because it's 40%!

Thanks...who knew that Hatchimals were so confusing. I will check out all of the suggestions. For obvious reasons, the twins appeal to me.
