Default Comfortable walking boots - help!

My favorite walking boots are starting to wear out, and of course they don't sell them anymore (Merrell Captiva Buckle Up). I also have the Keen Bern Baby Bern, which are also wearing out, and while they are comfortable, I much prefer the Merrells. I am so sad, because I can walk in the Merrells all day long (wore in NYC in December, etc.). I haven't found any other boots that are as comfortable.

Some of my requirements I am looking for:

I live in So Cal, so I don't need "winter" warm boots. I would like waterproof though. Going to DC in February, and would like some to wear there.
Rubber sole, no heel. I have heeled boots, but I need some for walking all day. I dislike hard, slippery soles.
Taller boot shaft (14-15 in). I like my Keens, but they are a bit shorter than I prefer. I am tall and have long legs, and the shorter boots hit me at a wierd spot.
The hardest one - I have big feet, and would prefer a size 10.5. Some boots I can wear a 10, but most are just a little too short...I can try an 11, but in some brands they are too loose. Not many brands make a 10.5. So, any information if a brand runs big/small would be so helpful.

Any suggestions on boots to look at? I do most of my shopping online, as I don't have time to go run all over town (but I do live in San Diego, so I have plenty of stores around).

    Thanks!

**Update** a new pair of the Merrells just popped up on Poshmark in my size, so those are taken care of! Thanks for all the suggestions - now to move on to finding a black pair

Bookmarking! I have Dansko boots that meet many of those requirements but mine are several years old so I need a replacement too.

What about these Teva boots, available in 10.5? https://www.rei.com/product/120662/t...l-boots-womens

Or these Sorels, also in a 10.5? https://www.rei.com/product/120607/s...f-boots-womens

I am a similar size and have been looking for the same thing to replace my Merrell boots (which I should have bought in 11, not 10). I will post links when I am on a computer, but if you really love your Captivas, check out Ebay for replacements!

I just ordered these from REI, they are size 11, but meet a lot of your other requirements:

I have these in my cart in case the REI ones don't work out, and they come in 10.5!

If you can find these Bogs Tall Kristina boots anywhere, they’re great! https://www.rei.com/product/888077/b...l-boots-womens

Thanks! The Tevas are the ones that don’t work in a 10 or 11...and they don’t have a 10.5. I tried.
