Default Xpost in travel- comfortable dressy-ish pants for air travel for curvy woman?

Dh just got a pair of really comfy- looking pants from Lululemon that a colleague recommended for travel. They have a false fly in the front and are elastic waist. He loves them. I was hoping you moms who travel a lot for work or fun could recommend something similar for me for air travel. I’d like something that doesn’t look like joggers but feels like them. I am pretty curvy on bottom and I’m petite. The only pants I wear usually are Loft Julie cut and White Hiuse Black Market curvy cuts.

    Any suggestions?

eta- no leggings or anything that fits like leggings, pls

Wit and Wisdom jeans from Nordstrom are super soft and stretchy and they come in a variety of cuts.

Rock and republic jeggings from Kohl's are also nice. I know they're called jeggings but they're thicker than others I've tried and look like actual denim. Size up for a comfy fit. https://m.kohls.com/product/prd-2133...ngs-womens.jsp

I actually refer to my Bettona Boyfriends as my "traveling pants." In fact last summer, when I flew to Spain, I posted to Facebook a photo of myself on the plane wearing them and several friends commented that Bettona's were their favorite pants to wear for travel as well. I like them for road trips too. And they come in petite sizes.

I hate to say it but Eileen Fisher (always thought they were old lady clothes haha) has a ton of perfect travel pants. I have a pair that are black ponte, but cut like a straight-leg jean, with a zipper and button, and pockets in front and back. I ADORE them- got them at a thrift store for 3 bucks, but they are definitely worth every penny that they cost (100+). I also got a pair of pull-on, black crepe ankle length pants by Eileen Fisher (not fitted, but not wide legged, either),that I wear with tunics, or long sweaters, or denim shirts, at that same thrift store, in the middle of nowhere Nevada, crazily enough. I am off to bed, but can find both pants for you, online, if you are interested.

Its funny that you say that about Eileen Fisher because I’ve always thought that too. Until this week when a couple of EF sweaters that I ordered arrived and I love them!! Really comfortable and flattering. So, YES, definitely, if you have time, can you link to the EF pants that you love? (Are you pear shaped? That really limits what I can wear). TIA!

Oooh, which sweaters did you get?

I think I'm pretty pear shaped, size 12 with a tummy.

These are the crepe pull-ons. New and on ebay, as well.

Here are the other ones. Mine are not "skinny", but not wide leg, either, so I think these are them.

Similar, but not 100% they are the ones I have, but very close if not.

Sorry, I just saw this post. THANK YOU for posting these links! I’m going to order the Eileen fish pants you linked to. I’m having trouble with our WiFi right now and can’t pull up the link to the sweaters I got, but they are a thin cashmere, v neck sweater that kind of skims over my belly area. They are also 3/4 length sleeves. I like how versatile they are- good for fall or chilly summer evening but I can layer them for winter. Perimenopause is causing unexpected hot flashes so I’m always looking for pieces I can layer. Good times.

I also wanted to update and say that I tried a bunch of the Athleta pants and the ones that fit my pear-shaped body the best are the Chelsea pant. Featherweight fabric and lots of room in the caboose. Very comfortable and flattering. EVERY other style I tried were straight leg so they ended up loose in the waist and too snug in the butt. But the Chelseas look great. Thanks everyone for the recommendations!
