    Default Quick! Picture outfit help!!

My professional photog SIL just told me she’d take our family’s pic tomorrow.

Below are my 2 choices/ haven’t picked out DHs yet.

The only difference is dd1s outfit- I just spent an hour picking out my outfit on the right, that’s not changing.

Option 1- i love the burgundy dress- I tried to temper it with the cream cardigan, but I’m not sure the burgundy will go with the brighter red I have.

option 2 is the shirt and jeans for her- not my favorite but the reds blend better.

I like them both, but I would give your add the option to wear what she is most comfortable in. I have a Dd1 who is much more photogenic when she is comfortable so if that is jeans and a sweater for her so be it vs. some frilly and fancy dress.

I like 1 best, but both would work well.

I concur with Option 1. Honestly, though, I think the plaid is too busy for a photo. I know you said your outfit wasn't changing, so consider at least buttoning your cardigan all the way.

Either combo for the girls looks great. It's the plaid that doesn't work, IMO. But it's not my picture, so who cares!

The consensus seems to be in favor of the burgundy dress.

One more thing do you really need the cardigan with the plaid shirt?
