Default Does anyone really use their Frontier 90 as a belted booster?

We just took the harness out of DD2’s Frontier 90 (she is 7/1/2, 50” tall and maybe 48lbs) and we have it in our ‘17 Subaru Outback and the fit isn’t awesome because the seat is kind of wide and she has issues buckling it. I am debating about putting her in one of the Greco highback Turbos (if it hasn’t expired yet....bought in 8-2011 so it could be) or will just deal with the width of the seat, but I am also wondering if it just overkill at this point. DD2 did say she wants to keep the highback. She has a Peg Perego booster in DH’s car, and I am not sure if I will ever find a good deal like I got on the first one last year (it was under $50 with Amazon credit from the Amazon warehouse)

Yes, both my kids used their Frontiers in booster mode for several years. DS2 is 8.5 and is in his Frontier 90 in booster mode in DH's car. He's in a Britax Parkway SGL G1.1 booster in my car. He's 53.5" tall and 62lbs (we were at the doctor's yesterday)!

Thanks! I might move the seat to the Pilot since the seat is wider there than in my car. Dd1 used her Frontier 80 till she was about 8 as well in one car and used the Grace highback turbo in the other car.

Both of my kids used their Frontiers in booster mode for about 2 years.
