Default One piece swim with chest "coverage" for petite 13 year old

So DD2 is a very, very petite 13 year old. She probably passes as a 10 year old easily. She can fit in the Costco Speedo girls' one piece size 12 swimsuits, which I hear run very small. The Costco size 12 Speedo one pieces are a little big, but fits gets by b/c it's a one piece. However, the nipple coverage isn't great for the size 12 and under. Most swimsuits that would fit her don't seem to have nipple coverage. She is self conscious about that. Are there any one piece swimsuits that could fit someone who is probably equivalent to a 10 year old height, but has lining or more coverage in the chest area? She doesn't actually have much of a chest, but the breast buds might show through a very standard one piece.

    Thanks for any advice!

Athleta Girl. My DD is 12 but very tall and wears the size 14. You should probably get her the size 12 - they have free returns in case it doesn't work out.
    Something like this: http://athleta.gap.com/browse/produc...&pid=210056002

My DD has a tankini set and a swim shorts set from there and we've been pleased with the quality. Note that the reversible swim tops are not lined. She also has a Justice one-piece which is very lightly lined.

My DD has had a surprising amount of luck in the target girls section. They often have some sort of overlay in the chest area in addition to lining like this one:

She also does swim team and thank goodness her swim coach has picked a pattern/style/material that is super thick and covering rather than what most of the teams around here wear, DD would want to give up swim before wearing those. for practice DD likes the dofin uglies line in lots of pattern: https://www.swimoutlet.com/p/dolfin-...-8-16-8135798/

That one is so cute! I was also going to suggest looking for a suit with a ruffle or fringe or overlay of some sort across the front! It sounds like you are looking to camouflage more than what a lining layer does ...

My daughter sounds exactly like yours. The one piece suits with the one extra layer just don’t cut it anymore. We had good luck at justice of all places. Several of their suits had more coverage on top & that made all the difference in my dd not being self conscious

Nordstrom has some great tween swim options too! My DD rejects those ones with the ruffle or overlay in the chest area so check with your DD first!
