Similarly, a couple years ago I'd gotten new sneakers and had accidentally left them in the living room coincidently the night we had our cute, early-20's babysitter. DS1 said "mom, I think K left her shoes here's last night! Didn't she notice she was leaving without her shoes???" I told him they were my shoes! He was shocked. They were fun light gray vans with subtle sparkles.
