Can we talk shorts for me

It’s getting hot and I need shorts. Anyone have refs for jean shorts or other shorts that fit thighs and aren’t too short.

I just bought 2 pairs of these Riviera shorts from Loft. They fit really well and are nice and streamlined. I think I might buy a few moreover now that I see all the colors they have online!

I am really picky about length, and my favorites are the 5" shorts from Old Navy. I'm sure other stores have nicer versions, but I am not willing to compromise on the length and these are cheap and easy to find.

I just bought shorts at Costco that I like. I like longer shorts which are harder to find and these are longer but more slim fitting and fit me so well I went back and bought another pair.

I'm curious how the fit of these shorts compares to the JCrew chino shorts - do you know? I've worn their chino shorts for years but see they don't have the longer length anymore (at least on the factory site).

They aren't too tight in the thighs, have long enough inseams and DONT DIG IN MY TUMMY!!!
