Exploding kittens is one of the card games if you missed it the last time.
Thanks for the heads up. Buying blindly, I'm in for Exit: Abandoned Cabin. https://www.amazon.com/Thames-Kosmos...ned+Cabin+Game
Thanks! We own and enjoy these:
Saboteur
Exploding Kittens
Stratego
Boss Monster
Forbidden Desert
King of Tokyo
There are usually videos on YouTube that explain games if anyone wants to check out the game play before puchasing. I find the videos helpful, too, when learning to play.
I'm probably buying One Night Ultimate Werewolf Daybreak b/c it's on my youngest's wishlist.
I'm tempted by Lost Cities, Seikatsu, and Kodama.

I am thinking now
of grief, and of getting past it;
I feel my boots
trying to leave the ground,
I feel my heart
pumping hard. I want
to think again of dangerous and noble things.
I want to be light and frolicsome.
I want to be improbable beautiful and afraid of nothing,
as though I had wings.

I'm such a sucker for games!
We like Forbidden Island and Exploding Kittens
I just bought Dragonwood and Lost Cities
I'm thinking of New York 1901 but it sounds somewhat similar to Ticket to Ride. We love Ticket to Ride but I don't really want to duplicate it...

Forbidden island and forbidden desert are good. I might get forbidden sky because it looks along those lines. Forbidden island and desert are cooperative games instead of competitive, which is nice.

I have quite a few of these, and am bummed that I bought Near and Far a few weeks ago.
Kingdomino and Queendomino are really fun. They are pretty similar, with Queendomino being a little more complicated, so I would only get one. Quick games, easy to play.
King of Tokyo is a fun Yahtzee type thing where you are monsters (like Godzilla) trying to invade Tokyo and fight off the other monsters.
Forbidden Desert, Forbidden Island and the new Forbidden Sky are all co-op.
Bunny Kingdom is one of my current favorites, and despite the cutsey name is more for tween and up ages.
Sheriff of Nottingham is really fun, but needs the Merry Men expansion or it's too easy to win by never bluffing. I haven't played it with the expansion yet, but it's a good price for both the main game and the expansion.
Potion Explosion is another favorite around here.
Rubik's Race is a fun, fast game. DS2 brought it in to school in 4th grade for game day and the kids had so much fun, I bought one for the classroom.

Of those listed my DH and kids have played Forbidden Island and Forbidden Dessert (we own and enjoy both as a family), King of Tokyo, and King Domino. I ordered Exploding Kittens when it was on sale previously. Trying to decide if I should order something else......
Just ordered Forbidden Island, thank you for the head's up on price, and the recommendation!
