    Default Quick Echo question

DCs have recently discovered routines on their Echo Dots. They each want a “good night” routine. BUT is it possible to stream from Amazon music at the same time from different devices? It doesn’t seem so but they swear they’ve done it before. If not, is there another way we could make it work? Maybe different steaming apps, though I couldn’t get that to work either. Thank you!

It depends on your Amazon Music subscription. If you want to play on more than one device, you have to pay more. You need the family plan, as opposed to the individual plan.

We have the unlimited subscription and we can stream up to 6 devices at once I think. If you only have prime, maybe use two different services (pandora and prime)

    Default Quick Echo question

We don’t have the family. Just checked and I’m not sure I want to pay $15/mo so that DCs can listen to poop and shark song in stereo from their rooms. May have to play around with different apps I guess. Though just getting the family membership may be easier.

You can create a "group" for the kids dots and then have one 1 stream to reach all.

Ah, I thought you wanted different music at the same time? I may have misunderstood. You can play the same music over all of the devices in the house for no extra charge.

I did want to stream different music but I set up the group last night and everyone was content listening to the same music so fingers crossed.
