But I have a lead foot and my track record is not so lucky.

No warning, just a bug fat ticket. I must admit I got several speeding tickets in my 20s, but since marrying and having kids I've slowed down. Haven'tgotten in a ticket in over 10 years. However in the fall my dad sold us his old Lexus sedan and boy, does it drive smoother than my old 2003 Honda Civic or Town and Country minivan. I dont even realize how fast I'm going.

The car issue is real. My old car was small sporty sedan that I got used to as I drove it every day, but everytime my husband drove it (vs. his giant pickup truck) he'd rocket up to 90 and not even realize. I set the speed alarm for 85.
