Websites for finding nanny?

Posting for my sister.

She is looking for a nanny in Nassau County (Long Island) and is wondering if anyone has recommendations for good websites (other than care.com) or agencies.

Her current nanny just informed them she can only work until the end of this month, so they need to find a new one asap.

A friend loves Sitter City.

I think Care.com is the go to site, though. Why doesn't your friend want that one (just curious since it seems pretty good)? Or is it just that they have looked in Care.com and don't like anyone and are looking for additional options?

Besides Sitter City and Care.com, I think local FB groups are the best bet (i.e. just posting) - or nursery school / elementary school google groups.

Is she on nextdoor? I've seen child care discussed on ours frequently.
