A family member on FB posts the most ridiculous political memes on FB. Almost all of them are flat out lies. When called out, he basically responds that he doesn't care that they aren't true. I've called him out a few times, his grown children have called him out, but the posts keep on coming. I am going to have to block him.

Hang in there. I have a family friend who posts things suggesting that Sandy Hook was a hoax. Meanwhile, our best friends live in Newtown and know some of the victims. That doesn’t convince her though.

Which reminds me ... I need to snooze my dad again. (We agree politically, but he digs up some of the weirdest sh!t which he then posts uncritically and it blows my mind because he's the one who taught me how to think critically & skeptically.)
