Houston with kids

Looks like we’re heading to Houston this summer. We’re planning on visiting NASA while we’re there. What else should we see while we’re in town? Any tips for NASA? TIA

DD was born in the hospital right across the street from NASA!

The Houston Zoo is great, and Galveston isn’t too far away if you want some beach time. The galleria has an American girl store (if your kids are into that......mine aren’t) and shopping. There is also a great childrens museum. The aquarium is not the best, but still fun.

Also, I’m not sure where you’re from, but Houston is HOT during the summer. Plan a zoo trip early in the morning. Otherwise, you’re just looking at empty enclosures because the animals are all hiding in the shade.
