    ohh-what about the steroid nasal spray? I can't remember the name right now....DH uses it everyday in allergy season. I have used it with a cold and it helped.

    The common OTC steroid nasal sprays are Flonase (fluticasone), Nasacort (triamcinolone), and Rhinocort (budesonide). There are several other steroid nasal sprays available by prescription. At least some of the OTC products are also available generically (e.g., CVS fluticasone).

    Yes! This is what I was going to say. They take a while to build in your system, but can almost always prevent sinusitis. One DC uses generic Flonase and I use Nasalcrom (order from Amazon).

    I slept 7 full hours last night. I woke up refreshed with 4 minutes to spare before my alarm sounded.
