If the ones in the used inventory have been rehabbed (new corks, new pads, mainly), it may be easier to get one of those than one that's been in storage for a while that needs all of that sort of work done.

That's kinda what I was thinking, since I know nothing about clarinets to know what is good or not! The ones at the resell place states that all instruments have been put into good playing condition by a professional repairman and many of the listings state if it has had new pads put on it. A friend through Girl Scouts was a clarinet major in college and said she would offer advice if I wanted, so I may have her look at the online inventory and give her thoughts before I call about any of them.
