    Default Which shoes for graduation?

I won’t be on stage, but I am working at graduation this weekend so I will be on the floor with the graduates. This means I will be standing/walking on concrete floors for most of 3.5 hours. I am wearing a very casual blue floral dress, but it won’t be visible underneath my very dark blue (almost black) academic regalia. Last year I wore black kitten heels and both the shoes and my feet were torn up by the end

Clark’s black flats, Cole Haan nude wedges, or metallic straps sandals? I am not looking forward to standing that long in any of them, but there isn’t a huge comfort difference between them. Photos in first comment.

I have the Cole Haan wedges and love them and I like them over the black flat, but I would also wear the sandals because I love sandals!

I worked at graduation last weekend and wore some Vionic slip on shoes. If those are the only choices I would go with the ballet flats.

I picked the wedges, and they looked great but my toes have blisters today Must find some more comfortable but still presentable shoes before next year!
