    Default Snoring and slee apnea

My she snores awful and finally got a sleep study. They made him do a home study which came back inconclusive. I thought for sure he would fail and so did he. Now he has to go to hospital in July.

I have read conflicting things about sleep apnea. Is snoring an indicator or not?

    Default Snoring and slee apnea

Snoring can be an indicator of sleep apnea. But not everyone who snores has sleep apnea and not everyone who has sleep apnea snores. My husband has pretty severe sleep apnea but he doesn’t have the “not breathing” thing that often occurs. He definitely snores though. He was tested for it after an off-hand comment he made to his doctor on a completely unrelated visit.

I can’t sleep it’s so loud. Luckily the doctor found he had thyroid cancer and they removed that so the sleep study is 6 months late.
