We’re there for 3 days in the summer and I am looking for a place to stay that is reasonable and that allows for easy sightseeing....and that doesn’t break the bank. Any recommendations?

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza The City a few years ago and found it was reasonably priced, clean, safe, modern, helpful staff, and very very quiet, yet convenient to train, tube, buses and very easy walking distance to Tower Bridge and the West End (as well as places to eat/drink right around undo the corner)

Mama to 3 awesome kids
We stayed here in April and were very happy. It's a 10 minute (max) walk to the tube station (Earls Court or Fulham Broadway), bus stops even closer, lots of nearby markets and food, easy transport into the city. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/379060
We stayed here last year — great 3-bed in Covent Garden. The location was fantastic, walkable to so many sights and near three different tube stops.

Thank you all so much! The disparate reviews on the apartments was really throwing me off, it looked like some people had fantastic reviews and some people just said 'it was a dump and the plumbing leaked' so I was a little bit scared to show up late at night and be in a place that was quite terrible

Also, any suggestions on what to see in London/what pass to get? We’re there for 2 full days between flying in one night and flying out the 4th night. So 2 full days to sightsee

We loved the Tower of London — the Yeoman Warded tour guide we had was fantastic. We did lots of asking around and enjoying the architecture. For and adrenaline rush the kids liked the Thames RIB experience (speed boat). However, a little kid cried on our tour, so If you have kids who frighten easily, skip it.
