    Default Podcasts to run to?

I need suggestions for entertaining podcasts to run to. Nothing overly intellectual since my mind often wanders while running, and something humorous would be good.

I often listen to Dax Sheppard’s podcast which I love - it’s the right balance of humor and info, but I need others. I listened to one Rich Roll podcast earlier this week and it was great, but I tried another yesterday and found it super boring.

    Any recs?

I like Conan's podcast. Check out Earwolf's page - they have tons of good and funny shows.

I was going to suggest Dax's. I listened to Anna Farris' last summer during my runs too. Good but not as good as Dax.

The Shrink Next Door -- it's fascinating! I don't run so not sure if it's good for it!

Thanks, I forgot about Conan so will definitely check him out. And I've never heard of Earwolf, so thanks for the rec. And I'll check out the Shrink Next Door!!

SnuggleBuggles, isn't Dax the best? He's so funny but also surprisingly sharp.

I only let myself listen to the podcast when working out- so it's good motivation to workout! I will keep moving above and beyond what I planned sometimes so I can hear more!

Dax is Armchair Expert or something similar.

I just listened to The Dream, about MLMs, and it was fascinating.

Slate had a limited series about Ruby Ridge that was also very interesting. For that matter, so were both seasons of Slow Burn.

I also like the West Wing Weekly, though obviously it’s for fans of the show. Ditto NBC’s the Good Place podcast.

And if your kids ever went thru a princess phase, Disney Princess Smackdown is silly and fun.

    Thanks!

    I love Mark Marron too.

Thanks anonomom, I’ll check those out! The MLM one sounds fascinating.

Kendra, just FYI Dax isn’t kid friendly. He cusses a lot, openly talks about past drug use (he’s sober now), and at times mentions sexual stuff. He’s also refreshingly honest, open and humble. And very witty! He's mentioned Mark Marron (they each were on the other's podcast) and seems to be a fan of Mark's. I tried Mark's podcast once but will have to try it again.
