I'm tall, so hard to judge. Also, OP said she likes longer dresses. I like above the knee for myself.

Trying to break her out of her shell. It’s Vegas after all. Plus, truly, us showtimes look even shorter if the length hits below the knees- which that one totally would.

What about this dress? Love the hemline:

Another rose gold sequin option (maybe? the real photos look more regular gold):

So the second one I saw ages ago and loved!!!! But thought too short for my dumpy legs - truly, from knees to hips, I’m a size bigger than rest of my body. Then this time I saw the halter one (both dresses are from same designer and material looks the same), and I do like halter style. But you’re right, the length could be a problem. As I’ve always liked the second one posted, I’ll keep it on the list. I’ve got 5 months to keep working out, which I’m doing regardless of the dress I wear, I like having a goal to work towards.

What I do like about RTR are the pictures of real people wearing the dresses. Everyone looks amazing, and they’re all different heights and sizes. I need to get over the body issues I have!

    I'll add a suggestion.

Congrats on feeling better about yourself! Sounds like you've been working hard, and this seems like a really fun "reward."

If it came in petite length it would be good, but most of the folks on RTR who wore it are much taller than OP and it will be too long. That style is perfect though.

It is a gorgeous dress. The reviews mention it runs large, and many wore 1-2 sizes down. It looks different depending on how tall and shape of the person. Some were more busting out of the top and it’s very va va voom , and others were more contained.

Petite sizes are hit or miss for me. Probably because I’m at top of the petite height, and I’m short in the torso but leg length is more regular. I have to try on both regular and petite sizes to find best fit, and size up on the petite from the regular. I didn’t think to search for petite length on RTR. I’m used to a dress always being a bit longer on me than on the model.

There’s a RTR store about an hour from me. It’s an option to have dresses sent to the store for pickup and you try on there. They do have other dresses too, so chance to change to another dress, but you need to make appointment if you want their help. Sounds good but yelp reviews on customer service are mixed, and I’m sure it’ll be crazy around time I’ll need to go in. Might be worth the drive though if I could make it work - I’m usually really busy then too.
