Default Tell me your experience with the MacBook Air 13”

This was an impulse purchase on amazon prime day. DH and I had discussed about getting an Apple laptop but hadn’t made up our mind and when I saw this MacBook Air 13” at $699 shipped from amazon I jumped on it knowing they’re not cheap.

So it’s a MacBook Air 13”, 128gb SSD, 8gb ram, 1.8GHz dual core i5. Is this a good laptop for home use? What’s your experience with the MacBook Air? Or should I save for a MacBook Pro?

    Thank you

I have had an air for the last 2 years, use if sometimes for work, but mainly home use. No issues at all and it was much more affordable than a Pro.

I'm on my second MacBook Air (had a MacBook Pro before that) and I love it. So light and easy to travel with. Don't miss the Pro at all!

I bought it then canceled and will probably regret it. I showed it to my IT guy and he pointed out it didn’t say what year it was and if it was new or a refurb. Some of the reviews seem to be getting a refurb. I’ve been wondering if I made the right decision.

It was delivered today, looks to be in original packing, I called Apple and verified with the serial number and the warranty lasts till June next year. And they confirmed its not refurbished.
