When do you switch over to Fall decorations?

Generally the first weekend of October. (September definitely still feels like summer where I live.) I decorate fall and Halloween at that time. Nov 1 (or thereabouts) I remove the Halloween decorations and leave fall decorations up while adding a few specifically Thanksgoving items. Those stay up until I switch from fall/Thanksgiving decor to Christmas decor on Black Friday.

Same here. Considering that it is supposed to be in the 90’s this week it still feels very much like summer, even though the kids start school later this week

For us, definitely not until October! Hot tip: southern California’s hottest month might just be September. Want to visit a beach here come then! It definitely doesn’t feel like fall. So I don’t generally see much in the way of fall decorations until later!

This! I live in one of those “Halloween neighborhoods” where people get way into decorations (lots of industry folks that work in set decoration, props, animation, makeup, FX etc.) Other than the one house a few streets over that starts building a haunted house in August, most decorations usually show up around October 1st.

October 1st usually. I put fall and Halloween stuff out then. I might do a bit of fall in late September. I do love fall, but it will be hot well into October here.
