    If you want guaranteed awesome snow and better skiing, stay at a Snowbird in Little cottonwood canyon. I think if you aren't planning to ski, I'd look at something in Park City, you can wander town and shop , go a spa, etc. There are so many places,, I'd see which ones make sense for your family (4 kids and 2 adults right).
