Default Christian Siriano for J. Jill

I'm not a J. Jill fan. But I really like Christian Siriano so I was excited to see what he came up with. I find his collection to be so disappointing. There is not one piece that I'd consider. The green dress is okay, but just okay. What do others think?

I like this dress but the rest of the stuff isn't that interesting.

I agree--pretty boring. The green dress is okay but I wonder if it would look frumpy IRL (note the way the model is standing). There are two updates on the classic white blouse that I like--the flared sleeve one and the gathered sleeve one.

    I kind of like this:

And apparently so do my plus-size sistas because it's nearly sold out.

I also like the color of the green puffer coat, but it seems to have 3/4 sleeves and no hood. Clearly meant for fashion and not chilly days. lol

The white blouses kind of remind me of maternity tops. Agree he/JJill played it very safe with the line, and its a bit of a yawn.

    The 3/4 sleeves...I can't even with that.

Sort of matronly, especially with the cuts of the tops and where the dresses hit. Also the 3/4 sleeves on the puffer coat is silly. The other bell sleeves are a pain to wear.

I’ve never bought from J Jill but I clicked that link. Ugh. Everything looked really hard to wear? Like big bell sleeves with slits, which to me means they would drop in your way in everything? The teal color of the dress and puffer is pretty but nothing you can’t get elsewhere. Nope, not for me.
