Default ISO Straight Leg Corduroy Pants

DD, who is 14 and wears a 6 or an 8 in pants, wants to find straight leg cords for fall. She wants the thicker corduroy-so not the fine wale. And she doesn't want skinny cords. She is thin but prefers things that are not skin tight and she likes a higher rise. She saw these and likes them but it would be nice if we could find some that actually went to her ankles. (it gets cold here in winter). Any ideas?? TIA!!!

Lands End has straight leg cords, but they're not wide wale. I have some and they fit really nice, with just the right amount of stretch. I like straight leg more than skinny, but it seems like everything is either skinny or boot.

    LLB has some too.

Neither store is as fashion forward as UO.

If they are rolled down are they long enough? I agree the UO ones are really cute, and for a 14 year old I'm not sure LE or LLB will work, they need to work on the styling of their pants. I haven't been in stores lately but what about H&M, Aero or American Eagle? I have seen more wide cordoroy this year, and I like it!!!

A&E was a no as was H&M. Didn’t check out Aeropostale’s. Thanks for that idea. I love LE and LLB, can’t see it working for Dd but I can ask

I was wondering that too, but the description says the inseam is 25". Maybe that's the rolled length?

Maybe you should check someplace like Poshmark or other reseller. The style this year is cropped, so it might be hard to find full-length ones that are trendy enough for her. I hate cropped pants, I have long legs so it just makes it look like I've outgrown my clothes.

Old navy, target, and gap just had skinny cords. DD doesn’t mind cropped pants so maybe the UO ones will be it
