Default Long shot maybe? Men's athletic pants?

This is actually for my 15 year old. He's a mens 33x34 pant. He needs new athletic pants. He likes loose fit (needs it for his hockey tree trunk legs anyway), hates joggers (no elastic ankles) and hates zippers at the ankles.

I got him these and he likes them, but 1. they are still not quite loose enough in the thighs so he didn't really want multiple pair and 2. they are pricey and he's still growing.

Does anyone know of anything similar? I found a pair of Under Armour in an old style that he liked, but they don't have anything with the ankle like he likes and they run a bit short for him...

Costco usually has Adidas pull on athletic pants. Ds1 has a million pairs. Online they only have joggers but they could have other types in the store. Or kohl’s has a bunch https://m.kohls.com/product/prd-2670...electShip=true

Costco has been my go to, but yes, the trend is to joggers. Looking for my high schooler last week and they only had the jogger or close to that with a tighter bottom style.

I just bought a ton of sweats for my boys at target. My DS1 likes the joggers but they had the straight styles too.

Thanks. Looks like Adidas might be worth a shot. He likes them plain though, no stripes. So picky. I may be able to convince him to at least try.

I think we have all the colors Costco carry in the adidas track pants. Both boys and men sizes

I think black with black stripes is sometimes an option. They have a ton of styles, some without stripes, I'd browse deeper. I just grabbed a few non-joggers I saw.

Have you tried Old Navy? Russell? Champion? C9 from Target? They seem to be more your basic black or basic solids kind of options.

If you have a screenprint shop in town, maybe check there. Maybe the team uniform type that they screenprint for teams are more his speed. I'm sure they'd be able to order and sell them without screenprinting on them. The shop I use definitely would!
