Default Very light and very warm packable down jacket?

This is for me, I travel quite a bit and am outdoors in the New England winters. I need something very light and warm, packable if possible, and should ideally go no lower than mid thigh to allow for ease of movement. Down or similar maybe? What would you recommend?

Costco. The Eddie Bauer down puffer is compact and, warm and cheap. No frills but does the job.

I saw that today and was wondering!! It’s $50 though and pretty much all down jackets are that price now. However, good to know, we have a Costco run tomorrow anyway

Good options suggested above. I would add that the TNF thermoball option is pretty warm.

2nd TNF Thermoball. Shockingly warm for how thin it is.

I got one from JCPenny last winter that is pretty thin and shockingly warm. I always think of it as a fall jacket but it is seriously warm and perfect for frigid days.
