Default Kids swim robe or coverup

Both DS and DD are on a swim team this year. Both my kids change after getting of the pool and it takes forever, well atleast 5-7 mins more and I feel we could be half way home in that time especially on weekday nights. Now with the weather here getting quite cold it would be tough to walk out with just a towel on but is there a robe or something that they could change into quickly?

Are recommendations what I should look for?

What you need is a swim parka. If you order on the larger size, it will last for years. Swim Outlet tends to have good prices and sales:

Towel pants+ any fleece top or zip up hoody they already have. A little oversized is better/easier for them to put on when wet. Relative of DDs teammate made them for the whole team and the kids think they are hysterical and awesome. Honestly, pants made from towels. Yes, we could do the swim parka, but we're cheap.

My kids have swim parkas. My kids have been wearing the same parka for 3 years, and I’m sure DD’s will fit her forever. I’ll probably have to size up for DS1 soon.

Yes to this! I think if you’re going to do this for years they’re worth it and I’m very cheap!

Even with the swim parka, I'd just grab some cheap fleece pj pants, five below has lots or any store, buy a bit big.

towel pants, swim parka, and a towel wrap or hat for head.

DD1 for years was the last one out of the locker room. Around 13 that changed, now she is quick.

At meets she lives in her parka. They are required to have on pants, the parka and slippers or shoes between events.

Thanks all I ordered swim parkas, and will grab some cheap pants when I head to a B&M store.
