    Default S/o slippers

Speaking of slippers, I have a weird request. I'd like to find slippers that are very warm/cozy, but don't have rubber/plastic soles. I get up SUPER early in the morning and we have wood floors, so I want slippers that don't make that tap-trap-trap sound when I walk through the house. But I also can't have them be slippery on the bottom, because I'll slip on the stairs. I wouldn't wear them outside at all. I've been using some cheapo knit ones with little rubber dots on the bottom, but they're not very warm, not supportive at all, and falling apart. Anyone have any suggestions? I haven't even figured out how to search online for non-rubber-soled slippers!

I have these slippers from LL Bean, and they have rubber soles, and I don't hear them making noise when I walk around our hardwood floor house (although it might be drowned out by the creaking of it old floors):

LL Bean also has leather soled slippers. Both my boys have them and they aren't nonslip, but they aren't slippery.

Now I feel like I need to go home, walk around in my slippers and see if they make noise. And ask the boys to try and slide around in their slippers

My Uggs are great and they don’t make noises. The Coquettes have a nice big sole and would probably have a better sole than the Scuffette, but the Scuffetes are quiet.

    These have grippers on them:

I also have LLB slippers (oceanside -sold out) that are not noisy at all on my hardwoods. My kids, however, have animal bootie slippers that are cloth but have gripper dots on the bottom, but they aren't supportive at all. That will be the trade off as supportive needs a firm bottom and it's really more of a sock than a slipper without a firmer bottom. Try searching no slip slipper socks (lots of options that sound way warmer than you have) or slip on bottles slippers for women on amazon.
