Books as presents - give me help

I like to get the kids a few books as presents.

I need a pop up book recommendation for my almost 6 year old - we love pop up books in this house. We have many kinds, fairy tales animals, a colleague recommended this one, what do you think? Others?

I need a book for my 12 year old. Last year we got her Maps by Aleksandra Mizielinska and that was a huge hit, she loves those reference/ atlas type books. Reading books are hard as she really know what she likes, but we like to get her "fun" books.


I was thinking of getting my husband The book of Legendary Lands by Umberto Eco, anyone have this? like it? not like? have other suggestions

You guys usually are amazing with this type of stuff and I am really drawing a blank.

The Frozen pop up would be fun with Frozen 2 just out in theaters. The price had dropped to $10 but looks like it is higher now.
