    Default Gift exchange ideas

Anyone care to share ideas for a work party gift exchange? DH just told me he needs a $20 gift for his work party at lunch this Friday. It's not my job to bail him out, but I've started a list of ideas anyway. There will be 2 men and 7 women, ranging in age from early 20s to mid-60s. Every year there's lots of coffee/cocoa + mug, scented candles, etc. So he tries to do something different. But last year he left it till the last minute (do you sense a theme?), panicked and ordered some gaudy home decor thing from Amazon. He liked it and he said some of the other employees liked it, but I wonder. Also, I'm a practical gift giver, he's a fun gift giver. So he probably won't like my ideas very much! But here they are anyway (some of these are less than $20, so would need to add something else):

    heated throw from Costco
    HydroFlask knock off
    electric kettle
    portable charger/powerbank
    clothes steamer
    foam roller
    wool socks
    Victorinox chef's knife
    board/card game
    microwavable hot pack
this thing for making popcorn in the microwave https://www.amazon.com/Talisman-Desi.../dp/B07DWL37KB

Do you know the recipient? I think I'd like everything except the clothes steamer & foam roller. The board game is a little dicey too unless you know what someone likes AND already has. And somehow to me, a heated throw seems more for women then men but I'm not really sure why.

eta: movie tickets, lottery tickets, and candy could be other thoughts.

It's one of those white elephant things where they take turns unwrapping a gift or stealing one from someone. It's hard to choose something that appeals to everyone, but ideally each gift interests at least a few people, or the game gets boring.

The things that go over the best at my office white elephant are alcohol, art books & collectible toys (but it's an office full of animation people, so not the normal office!) I got a nerf gun a few years ago and my son was thrilled!

Eco Dot for $22. That's what I would get.

Box of super nice toffee or chocolates? They're usually around $20-$25. My in-laws have sent us a box of Enstrom toffee every year for Christmas directly from the company, which we love and usually finish off in 2 days, but Amazon sells a container of their individual toffee pieces with Prime shipping. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016U2HEDC..._UKg6Db74CS3BQ

We did an Echo Dot at one of those a couple of years ago and it was very well-received/exchanged, etc. Other things that went well were a selection of craft beers and a small piece of art related to a local sports team...
