Best family game for tweens/teens?

Trying to come up with a couple of ideas for gifts for family friends. Looking at 2-4 player (minimum) games. Any recommendations? I already got the Box of Lies game (got one for ourselves too, can't wait to play) but need ideas for a couple of other families, kids age range from tween to teen. Card or board games, either are fine.

We have and love Exploding Kittens, Sushi Go. I'm intrigued by Throw Throw Burrito...also what about Codenames?

I don’t find myself reaching for Codenames very often. It’s fun but not a favorite here.
We’ve recently started playing Uno again which is good, easy fun.
You mentioned a lot that we have and like.
Another we just got into was Coup. That ones awesome because it takes no set up and a round takes less than 15 minutes to play. We played it for 2 hours last Sunday because we kept saying “just one more!”
Machi Koro is always one of my favorites along with Catan.
My kids like playing Bears v Babies but I haven’t played yet.
Pandemic, Apples to Apples Jr, Villainous and Dragonwood round out my ideas.

I learned about Catan from this board. We like that one a lot. We also like the Game of Life, but we have the ancient version I played as a kid with my family. It's fun.

Earlier this year we played Mexican Train Dominos at my SIL/BIL's house. It was a fun way to approach dominos...I bought a set. You can probably figure out how to play with without the kit.
