DD (11) just recently got her ears pierced. She has been wearing the studs for close to 6 months and is wanting to change them. Where do I go to purchase earrings

I like to get DD silver "stud" style earrings from etsy. They have a lot of choices and she likes to mix and match; she will wear a turtle on one ear and a pup on the other...

I’d be cautious buying earrings. DDs ears were pierced at a tattoo \piercing place with titanium studs. She wore those and kept them clean 6+ months, then changed to a pair of surgical steel studs for her dance recital. Those earrings were fine for a bit but within a couple weeks her piercing was infected and still another six months later she has a bump of scar tissue behind the piercing and it’s obviously not fully healed. She will stay in titanium for a long time after this experience. I thought her ears were healed and would be fine when we changed and I also thought the surgical steel would be fine. I was wrong on both counts.
