Default Hit - lego advent calendar

I know it's too late for folks for this year, but I splurged on them this year over black friday and we've had so much fun every night. I think it's def something we'll do again until the kids grow out of them. Big thanks to everyone on this board who recommended them, I wouldn't have thought to get them.

We have one for the first time this year (my mom got it on sale last December or January) and my son is really enjoying it too!

We get one every year, and the boys take turns opening it, it is a great tradition (except when they fight over who got a better day ). The last few years has been the star Wars one.

We enjoy checking Jay's Brick Blog after opening to learn more about the specific item that day:

My kids love the Lego Advent calendar as well. It makes our mornings in December so much easier, as I don't let them open it until both boys are dressed and ready for school

Glad they have been hits for everyone! I bought many over the years and they were only kind of interesting to my kiddos. They sat unopened lots of times. Of course, same went for the chocolate ones!
