I'll be 47 this year and I'm definitely perimenopausal. I am having the stupid problem right now with really short cycles, which is what I heard happens before cycles start to lengthen or skip around. I'd prefer to go through menopause earlier rather than later. I have horrible periods and am not comfortable being on BCP, so suffer through.
