Default Shoes to wear with Marvel tees and a puffer jacket?

I had a pair of converse that looked really great with some nice fitting denim, a graphic tee and a puffer jacket. But they killed my feet! I would love to find some shoes for these edgier clothes that don’t hurt my feet! I think the Cons were too narrow. My feet aren’t that particular but I do normally wear fit flops. The problem arises in Winter. I have some nice ankle boots but I want something that’s less dressy, more edgy. Could a good pair of Nikes work for this? I’m also looking for new workout shoes (to replace 10yo Nikes) and getting only ONE pair would be awesome. Budget is a consideration for sure!

I don't know how stylish they are, but I love my adidas cloudfoams https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/p...IOfA&gclsrc=ds

I have noticed several of DD's friends and other moms with the same style. I have the maroon.

We're a Marvel tee and puffer vest/jacket family too

I just bought myself the Allbirds Tree Toppers and I LOVE them. They look edgy especially with the bolder colors or the ones with contrasting colors (e.g. white sole, colored shoe). And they are VERY comfortable. I like the Tree fabric - looks edgier than the wool, IMO, and you can wear with thicker socks in the winter, or without socks in the summer.

The Adidas cloudfoams are one of DD's faves. Cheap on sale, light, comfy, cute. I don't know that I would call them workout shoes unless you're doing in-studio workouts for example...and not hitting the pavement.

I have a pair of basic black Nikes (with white soles)- they're super comfy, at least for walks and elliptical & treadmill exercising. I wear them with t-shirts and jeans., but don't wear them in the winter because I need to roll up the bottoms of my jeans a bit to show some ankle to look more stylish, and it's way too cold for that now. Otherwise I think a pair of black leather/ faux-leather Moto boots would be cute & edgy!

I would do a slip on sneaker. If you have fussy feet, then maybe a pair from Vionic? I have a pair of leopard print slip on sneakers that I wear all the time.

If you want cheaper, then I've had good luck with the Soda brand. https://www.amazon.com/Soda-Womens-P.../dp/B082WLJJQQ

I have plain black slip on Toms that look similar. They’re too cold for my feet for winter.

These would be perfect, my neighbor has them and they are great with leggings/skinny jeans etc. Depending on your size you could get them cheaper in kids sizes.
