    Default Relaxing family vacation with teens?

    It’s snowing here so let’s talk summer vacations!


    If you had a week in August to go with your family (DH & teens) for a relaxing holiday, where would you go and why? DH will be coming off an awful time of stress and relaxation with enough to do for the kids is the plan. Would appreciate ideas!

    What do the kids like to do? Swim, water activities? If so, then go to a beach or lake. My teen likes swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc.

    My kids will 100% of the time pick renting a house at the beach and doing nothing but frolic in the surf and play games.

    Renting a house down the shore like wildwood is popular for families with teens cuz there’s the beach to swim, surf, paddle board, and bay side for crabbing, boating, & fishing. Some rent a house with a pool so they often hang there and hit the boardwalk for rides, games or just hang at house.

    Something like that would be something we’d do in 5-8 years with our boys.

    I have an 11 year old and a about 16 year old. I've never seen my kids more happy, and relaxed than our recent trip to Kauai.
