I save my bacon drippings in a mason jar in the fridge and they are so, so good when roasting these! Like others I do 400 degrees for 30 min
My kids like the brown parts, lol! I wash them, cut off stalk and cut in half, drizzle with olive oil and garlic salt, then roast. Usually I have other stuff in the oven, so just use the temp. That the rest of the food calls for, usually between 350 and 425. I do check on them and stir them every 10 min. Or so. My kids love them. I once tried to make them with bacon and they said they prefer my way without the bacon!

ok, looks like I need to stir them at 10 minutes and watch more closely to see when they turn golden, otherwise I am not doing anything wrong, per se. Thank you!!

I cut in half and the sauté in bacon fat with lots of salt and pepper. Love!
