Gutter helmet or other guards?

Does anyone have any experience with having gutter guards installed. Gutter helmet had great online reviews but does anyone have experience. Our builder placed a mesh guard over ours and they are useless. We had some clogs and water damage.

DH gets on the roof and cleans out the gutters. We have a lightweight electric leaf blower that he uses. He should do it a few times a year, but it’s it about once a year though. If a guard doesn’t work, you may want to clean them out regularly, either yourselves or hire someone
