Default Do you bring a gift to a sip n see?

I was invited to a sip n see and I wonder if you need to bring a gift. These were not that common in my area when I had my babies in 2006 and 2010. I was invited to one in 2010 but couldn’t attend due to a conflict.

FWIW I am in the southern Los Angeles County, CA area minutes from Orange County.

I don’t know what the etiquette is, but personally I would definitely take something.

I think they are kinda like a sprinkle but after the baby is born so I would bring something small and be fine with it.
They aren't really very common here. Personally I don't get them. The last thing I would want with my newborn is a bunch of people with all their germs coming over to see them...but I guess I'm paranoid like that.

This! I limited visitors with both my DC. They were both preemies and once they were home I did not want to risk having to go back!

I would bring a favorite small gift or a couple favorite books.

Though, was there a shower you attended? While most wouldn’t do both, I wouldn’t assume

I hadn't considered this. So I'll amend my answer to yes, unless you've already given them a baby gift.

No. The baby was born on February 4th and the sip n see is on March 15th. It is for a second baby whose older brother just turned 5.

I took my Dd2 to a funeral when she was a week old for a close family friend.

I will get a little something.
