Default Please, please recommend your MOST comfortable heels (in any style and color)

I have wide, fussy feet. My feet blister and get chafed so easily from what seems to be the majority of shoes. I wear slip on Ecco sneakers and Born slip on boots (very wide, good support) on a daily basis. So my feet are never used to heels of any sort. I've had pain and discomfort with all heels I've ever worn, even the "comfort" type.

Any suggestions for your MOST comfortable heel (preferably not too high a heel--like 1" to 2" max)? It doesn't matter what color or style, so long as it is your absolute most comfortable heel recommendation. This will be for a wedding I will be attending.

    Thank you!

I have wide (D-width) feet, and have had Clarks Annadel Eirwyn for the past three years. Very comfortable.

AGL. Yes they are an investment.

Pricey for a single event, but i have serious foot issues including a bunion and my feet get sore standing in heels just trying them on. I can't tolerate most flats. "Comfort" heels including dansko's are a joke on me. Death! I need structure and a great cut. I have wider feet, but not technically "wide". Just no tiny toebox/points with bunion issues on one foot and neuroma on the other.

AGL's get me through the day.

Most are sort geared for corporate, but they have a cute new kitten heel out I'm dying to try!

I have these-like butter for you feet!

I had a similar issue when I was in a wedding a couple of years ago. I have crappy feet that are wide/Doublewide with planter fasciitis. I can only wear comfort shoes or superfeet insoles. I tried so many different things and finally settled on these sandals. They are so comfortable! And although they are not the typical shoes you would wear for a wedding, they do have some bling on top so I think they’re dressy enough.

Heck, I even took a pair of gold fit flops for the reception, in case these were too much for me. I had a floorlength dress though.
Another option is to find a comfortable insole and insert it into another shoe, though that can be a little tricky with dressy shoes.

I'm a performer so sometimes standing in heels for several hours in a row. It's gotten harder as I've gotten older, but I have a lot of Soffts in my collection. Here's a pair I wore for the better part of yesterday, combo of standing, walking and sitting.

I love my rockport cob hill sandals and and boots, they have a slight heel (1 inch), although their dressy options are pretty limited atm (at least at Nordstrom): https://shop.nordstrom.com/sr?origin...ort&position=2
