I hate doing taxes. It's way too complicated.

I always say I'm going to start earlier next year - but I don't. This year, I didn't even get the last of my paperwork until 2/28. (In part because we moved, and things took forever to get forwarded.)

Now, our CPA office left us a message today (3/5) that I must have everything sorted and turned in by Tuesday (3/10) or they wouldn't guarantee to get them done in time. Last year, it took me 100+ hours to do my stuff before I turn them in.

I hear you! I am such a bad book keeper that I just always do Turbo Tax. I am thankful for my online banking because that is where I look up receipts and stuff. Thankfully we don’t own a business or rental properties or have a large stock portfolio (everything is done through our employer) that needs attention from an accountant. I need to do them this weekend. I also hate that almost every year except for maybe two we have had to pay.
