When does ur school open? Will it open?

We are on stay at home order in IL until April 7. Hoping to go back and see my kids again but not sure at this rate.

Our district schools are closed until April 14th, but our governor has said not to expect kids to go back to school this academic year. My mind was blown when he first announced it, but now I think that's pretty accurate. Our school year ends May 29th.

The governor says don't expect the schools to open at all. The districts are saying May 5th based on what the county board of education is saying, but since the experts say it won't peak until early to mid May, I think it is doubtful we will return then. I think they are just giving parents a date to give them hope and to keep them doing some of the work that is being sent home. Our union is telling us to not expect to go back for the remainder of the year.

I haven’t heard anything beyond March 30 officially. Others in my state are reporting longer but I’ve yet to see a press release

We are April 6 (state wide), but the emails from the school are already talking about the chance it will go past that. School doesn't end until June 23rd for us, but I am not expecting that we will go back.

Ours is expected to reopen April 14th at conclusion of the district spring break, but I doubt it’ll open then. School lets out for summer around June 19th.

May 1st right now, but from talking with district employees and school board members, it's looking like we will not be back this year.

I'm assuming they won't go back this school year. Colleges have sent kids home and made them completely empty out their dorm rooms.

The university I work at has officially cancelled face time face classes for the rest of the semester, and suggested Sumer May well be online too. K-12 has officially only cancelled (moved online) through April 3, but I am sure it will be longer than that. Daycare is going week by week.

Ours are officially closed through 4/13. Who knows if that will change.
