Default The post office needs to rethink a few things...

We run a home based sales business and things are insanely busy. The postmaster told me to leave all out going packages for pickup at our home with a note for the delivery guy. Today we had a substitute driver who rang the bell, needed an in-person signature using his pen and did NOT keep six feet between us. Of course the dog bolted so he could get some love by the postal guy. I know they are trying to change their systems on the fly, but I don't want to see ANYONE!!!! Least of all some random guy who is invading our quarantine space! The deliveries entering the house are giving me enough to stress about!

Definitely a minor issue and we will probably all be fine, but that was definitely an encounter that was too close to a stranger!

    ARGHHHH!!!

I did a Target order where you just pull up outside. Associate handed me my order through the drivers side window then I had to sign her device with my finger. I ordered 3 bags of stuff- not an awesome set up. Grocery store has you open your trunk. That seems far more logical.

We just received 8 boxes of product from two different Asian countries (one from post office that had to be signed for and the others dropped off by fedex). My husband thinks I am insane... with gloves I opened all packages outside, with gloves DC pulled out the contents and put them in another box, all packing material was disposed of in one large trash bag that went straight to the garage, product in other boxes went to the storeroom to be dealt with, probably not until tomorrow (I am GOING to clean the house first!!!). I just came in and changed my clothes.

I am NOT concerned about virus on the stuff inside the packages, it has been at least a week since they were touched, it's the packaging that has traveled from Asia... All those different hands as it travels through the system, the Asia part is the least of my concerns, it's just coming a long distance.

My husband, honestly, thinks I am crazy! Of course, even DC agree that DH is the weak link in this house!!!

Okay, that was the bulk of inventory that was pending. We should have few big orders in the next few weeks.

We should be fine if I don't go insane before this is over!!!

ETA... We did takeout last week and I had to sign and write the tip with their pen... A wonderful restaurant, but not quite the right system...

Our target put it in our trunk and didn’t require a signature. Usually they would just scan the barcode on the app. I’d be annoyed too in your shoes.
