Just learned that a former colleague's mother passed away yesterday from COVID, just two days after her positive test. She was in her 70s, I believe.

I don't know the family, but a 20-something male in the next town over passed away in his sleep on Saturday. Mother had to demand and pay for an autopsy, with a specific request to test for covid (medical examiner originally denied the test) and he tested positive upon autopsy. He was overweight but no other known medical issues. A state politician actually stepped in and helped her get the autopsy and test done.

I've posted in other threads about a close work colleague who I'm convinced has/had it despite being denied a test. He had pretty much all the symptoms and tested negative for influenza.

Have had great improvement or total elimination of: migraines, bloating/distention, heartburn, cystic acne, canker sores, bleeding gums, eczema on elbows, dry skin and scalp, muscle cramps, PMS, hair loss, heart palpitations, fatigue. I'm amazed.

Just heard yesterday that my ex-SIL, my niece & nephew's mom, had a customer at her pharmacy who passed away due to Covid-19. He died either Tuesday or early yesterday, and had been to her pharmacy on the Thursday before to get some meds. My nephew has been staying with her a good bit, so now i'm worried about both of them. Plus his girlfriend because one of the reasons he likes to stay with his mom is because her rules are laxer about them being together normally, so I doubt she's put in more restrictions now.

My friend’s test came back negative so I guess it was pneumonia! She had a fever for 10 days and is finally feeling better! She said it has made her even more nervous about corona since this was so long lived.

It is estimated in real life vs lab conditions that up to 30% of Covid 19 patients will have a negative test. If the patient symptoms are consistent with Covid and not with bacterial pneumonia many practitioners in my area are considering them positive, especially if there is known exposure. We won’t know until we have a good antibody test if someone had it or not. Some of it is the current test needs a good sample and it’s actually hard to get a good nasal sample. So I suspect some percentage is understandably do to difficulties in applying lab conditions to real life. So there is a very good chance your friend had it. In our hospital, with very clear instructions on doing the test (videos and such) we are requiring TWO negative tests before ruling someone out for Covid 19 in-house.

I just saw an article on my local news website about an antibody test!

Two different moms at DS2's school are sick with Covid possibly. One is my good friend. She came down with symptoms Tuesday and was able to get a drive through test today. She said they'll call her with results in 3-5 days. Her symptoms so far are painful breathing, cough, low grade fever, headache, dizziness, and pain in her lower back. A friend brought her a pulse oximeter and so far her breathing is fine.
