DH bought this for me last year to scrape the grill and I love it. Very handy.

eta, just an FYI, those grill brushes can sometimes lose their metal bristles and can become lodged into food and be swallowed, so we don't use those anymore

I bought DH something like this from Costco a few years ago, great for scraping the grill, and no concerns with metal bristles in your food!

Thermoworks thermometers.
A Pop or Thermapen plus a Dot. If you don’t want to spend quite as much money, I can also recommend a cheaper thermometer from amazon instead of thermoworks. But the Dot is great for a chunk of meat and reverse sears.
What kind of grill are you using? Have you looked at the newish gravity fed charcoal grills from masterbuilt?
Do you want recommendations for people to follow to learn more techniques, science behind results, and recipes? What about seasoning blends?

These are our favorite tongs:

The flat head makes it easy to grab stuff and flip. Locking is nice for keeping it in the drawer. Feels good in your hand and a heavy gauge steel so they will last. We have a longer and shorter set.
Weber propane grill. Any recipes, science, tools, send it!
