DS and backless booster

I wonder if he could use something like the incognito? Did they take it off the market? My DD probably started riding in it around that height. She’s definitively smaller at 4’9” and 78# at 11.5. We are going to five-step test her now that she’s hit 57” which I understand is generally the magic number for fitting the seatbelt.

The Incognito is no longer sold! It was great for this purpose and what my DS1 used the last 6 months or so that he needed a booster in my car at age 11.

We still have two of them. Dd2 uses them when we are on vacation now and was using one in my vanpool car when I picked her up from daycare. Otherwise she is in a backless Turbo, and a backless Peg Perego. The Incognitos are great. Dd1 used one when she was 10-11 for about a year iirc.

Anyone know what happened to the Incognito? DGD2 still uses a regular booster but I was thinking that it would be a useful transition seat at some point.

I think they probably just discontinued them. Probably didn't sell many! Besides this board, in real life people have their kids out of boosters the day they turn 8 (or 6 which was the rule when DS1 was young).
