    Default Large school backpack

My middle school kids have been carrying all of their things in their backpacks due to COVID restrictions. I think they need bigger backpacks, they are stuffed! A lot of the backpacks I find online don’t give volume. I heard over 2000 cu in is best. Anyone have a suggestion for large backpacks?

MY DS has the prior model of this one (looks nearly identical as far as I can tell). It’s really big IMO. He carries a lunch bag inside it every day and he carries A LOT of stuff. He’s always been strangely paranoid about forgetting stuff in his locker that he needs so he brings everything home all the time. That was last year. Now they have no access to lockers and the bag is still working for him. Lunch bag, MacBook, epis/meds, graphing calculator, water bottle, and all school work.

Last year, there were several posts here about the size of the Adidas Prime V. I've seen it in person and it looks fairly roomy.

We got this on the recommendation of the board and they really are huge, well made, and I just love them! They're SUPER sturdy too. But really, they are huge!!

LL Bean Deluxe worked for ds1. He refused to use his locker in high school so carried his whole world in there every day.

Dd1 used a Jansport Superbreak and it worked fine. She will probably use it in high school and college. Dh used Jansport through college.

We have the LL Bean Quad. It might be the biggest volume wise? It’s been awesome for DS1 (5th year of this bag) and DS2 has upgraded this year to one also.

DS2 in middle school uses the LL Bean Deluxe. DS1 in high school uses the LL Bean Super Deluxe which is 20% more capacity than the Deluxe version.

Another vote for the Adidas Prime backpack mentioned above, if you want big. It is larger than any other we've purchased.
