I'm not sure exactly what you want, but when we selected ceiling fans for out kids' rooms, I didn't go with anything fancy or expensive. They are all from Home Depot (Hunter) and selected based on what matched their rooms. No regrets as they all still work well. They don't mind having to use a switch to control as on/off is all they want.

Same for us! We’ve been happy with ours.

Not sure how much you want to spend but the minka concept fans are great and come in a smaller size for smaller rooms. We've had them in all the kids rooms for more than a decade. Light is dimmable as well. We have a different minka fan in our bedroom (vaulted ceiling so has both up and down lights) https://www.build.com/minka-aire-con...egoryId=114888

Same here, except I think ours came from Lowes.

We love our Haiku L series smart fans and have them in every room of our house. They're super quiet but very powerful on full speed. They're also linked to Alexa. I slowly replaced all our old fans one by one as they died. I've gotten them cheaper on Amazon.

Thanks guys! So many good choices. We probably have more of a Hunter budget right now.

We just bought two of these fans for our girls room and they are nice. They have high, medium, and low settling for the light, which is great. We have them set to medium and the light is fine. I wish my more expensive Minka Aire fan in my living room had that option because I don’t think that fan light is bright enough. The fan operation is quiet and very stable even on the highest setting. I would definitely buy this fan again.

We have Hunter fans, and we love them. We got ours at a lighting-fixture store, mainly because that's where our contractor sent us. A very similar one was at Costco, as well. We had a Hunter fan in our last house for 18 years, and never had an issue - and even only had to change the light bulbs one in all that time, despite very heavy use.
